Newbury Park High School
Newbury Park High School provides a well-balanced curriculum for every student. The high school offers an intensive block schedule that includes three ninety-five minute class periods plus two forty-five minute class periods, one a the beginning and one at the end of the school day. Instructional levels include International Baccalaureate, Advanced Placement, Honors, College Prep, Standard, and Basic. Unique needs are met through GATE, English Language Development, Resource, Special Day, and Vocational Education programs.

YMCA — Dos Vientos
The completion of the new Newbury Park facility provides great opportunities for healthy lifestyles for kids, families, older youth and teens, adults and seniors within the Conejo Valley. The facility serves a larger number of residents desiring a more convenient, family-oriented place for fitness activities. The benefit is an increase in the quality and strength of our community by helping to build strong kids and strong families.
Completed in June 2007, the facility now provides youth and teens with expanded year-round program opportunities. Additionally, fitness programs and activities geared to the needs of seniors will enhance their health and well being.
With the addition of the swimming pool, year-round aquatic programs will provide more opportunities for swimming lessons, fitness and recreation.

Conejo Parks & Recreation
The Conejo Recreation and Park District, an independent special district, was formed in January 1963. The formation of the District was approved by 80 percent of the voters. It was voter choice to have a separate governmental entity to provide their leisure and recreational needs.
